THAT is exactly what I can't get here. Some of the e-bay beads go for $20-40 each, but they are sooo beautiful if I had the cash, I'd pay it! When D is done with school (only one quarter to go) I plan on taking a class on making beads like this...fingers crossed I can do 1/2 as well. >
Hey - In a former life, for quite a while, I worked with craftspeople helping them market their wares. I knew a lot of glass artists and often got to have a go - I did a course in lampworking beads and it was fantastic I really thought I would take it up but the gear is pretty expensive and not very portable but I keep thinking I shoudl wear them or make my own stitch markers with them. ANY WAY HOW WERE THE INDIGO GIRLS???? I just looked at your link and they were on when I was in SF (OMG!!!) How sad! They are one of my all time favorites andI have more albums by them than anyone else in my collection. Lucky Lucky you!!! >
