These are from an Etsy shop called InfiniteCosmosGirl She has some lovely glass work in a variety of styles .... But the buttons have my heart.
I love the idea of putting hand made buttons on my hand knit treasure.
Second on my knitter's need list is a lovely pendant.
Each pendant is like wearing a mini painting around your neck. I like the idea of unwinding my winter scarf to show off a unique piece of jewelry.
These are from an Etsy Seller named leakarts. She happens to be a friend and very talented artist.
Third on my List is some 'o' so lovely yarn.
This yarn has real silver in it and that
makes me wonder about it. Real Silver shines so making me think of this yarn as having star quality.
This yarn is from paintedskeins who I have purchased some lovely roving from. She has great taste and spins wonderful yarns as well.
Lastly a MissPurl update.
New to the shop some amber resin stitch markers.
It has been a while since I was excited to offer something new. These are very light weight and make a very cute sound when you knock them together.
I enjoy them greatly.
Happy knitting and I hope everyone has a great week.

He is not very happy about it and would rather go and play. Stevie trying to run, jump, and fetch being blind is hard enough. Add bootie and collar and its really hard not to laugh. My blind dog is walking around with what looks like a swimming flipper. It kind of makes that sound to.
He is getting away with murder as his injury does not allow for much play time. When he went in the docs the other day he had lost 8 pounds...I am sure with the cookie quota this last week it is no longer 8 lost.
In Other news. Socks are becoming socks. Just getting started for the toe. Then to pick a cuff style. I was thinking something with nubbs because they are fun to knit. But maybe something less 3d.
Either way once this pair of socks is off the needles I have the next set lined up. More cute trekking yarn. I don't know why I heart it so . . . but I do.

I am teaching a drop spindle class here in town. Its Sept 11th.
I have pulled out my sheepy little spindle and spun a few mini itty bitty roving batts. They are a lot of fun to spin and super easy. I love using my spindle . . .not that I don't my wheel but there is such a different feeling to it.
So my spinny friend any tips on teaching drop spinning?
What is your favorite fiber to spin these days?
What do you like to knit with your yarn?

A very very good show. There is nothing better than someone buying your things or taking a card.
I feel good.
This card was made by my booth budy LeaKarts.etsy.com. She was fabulous as is what she sells. Each little Aceo and necklace is a wonderful piece of art with there own story.
I am pooped and can't wait to find where I left my sock.

Different and unique make me smile.
In knitting news I am almost finished wth the first sock minus the cuff. I am making them for someone with bigger feet than mine and it always worries me that they won't fit them.
But they will. I start there toe where my toe ends.
Keep on knitting.

Next one is soon and I will be happy to be outside and around more people I know. Plus my table is bigger and I feel better a little streched out.
I may even put out some of my handspun yarns...I have aquired a huge basket of it. But how do you price such a thing? What about the not quite perfect yarns?
I love them all but will I really use them all.

I have made some fun key chains with my lampwork beads and icord. They are fun. I am not sure what I am going to do with them but I have enjoyed making little i cords on sock needles. it takes no thinking and no purling...which is odd. I love hwo there is a ladder then you just pull and it becomes a worm.
They do remind me of worm scarves but atlas all the worms I know don't need a scarf.
So who is reading the new HP?
I bet you are.

The post office is eating my mail. No not the nice calm mail that comes to my home that makes it. But the mail I send to other people is not getting there. Not in the normal 3 - or the weird 5 -10 its not getting there at all.
Now granted my US mail has made it with one exception. But my posts to Canada are ending up I don't know where. They darn well better be a knitter because they have a bounty of stitch markers. OK not a bounty but six sets. That's a lot. One persons only made it there on the third try. Three times I sent it.
I just don't understand.... My stomach is all knotted up and I feel like crying.... Really.

These beads are not made by me but I love them. The bottoms remind me of daisy flowers all smiling up.
The summer time fun here is grand but the heat is too too hot.

I had a little fun making a pretty list of green things. I saw the pea pod earrings on the person who makes the mini mobile. They are seriously cute. Green has been my color of choice recently. I have been knitting on an afghan and surprise it is green. I don't know if it has to do with all the lovely green that is popping up here or if I just like green.
