Time to Stop

You know it is time to stop cleaning your space when you uncover a nice new crisp twenty dollar bill. I hate cleaning. I know it will be nice to find the things I am looking for and all...but blah.

I love knitting socks! The last couple pairs I have been working on needed tiny markers.

I also have a love for sparkle. Tiny 3 and 4 mm swarovski crystals grace these lovelies combined with tiny fresh water pearls. There is something about them that makes me want to take there picture and just watch them move from one needle to the next.

I like many people tend to stay in a fixed color world. I wear blue, green, black, and red....rarely do I branch from those colors.With beads everything goes....Making Orange and Purple or cream and toast. My knitting is like that to. Fun bright colors!

I want to make a challenge for March. To work with black on black and white on white beads. What spawned such an idea? It was class test for me in photography class. My white on white was an egg in a mini soap bath dish and black on black a high heel shoe and silk scarf...or dress I don't recall. I will have to dig them up. I don't remember how I did grade wise on them but I had fun.

Fun is the key.

have been talking to Sonny about getting some paintings to go over out bed. For like two years. Well I painted the room last year and we got a new bed....I avoided getting a head board until I got something to go over it. I am a dork like that. SO Sonny picked these out for me...From an Etsy shop. I am so proud of her for buying from Etsy!

I might not have picked these out my self but I must say that I like how they look with the green walls and the rest of the room....well no the rest of the room is not decorated. It is just three shades of green. But it gives me hope that I might some day finish it.Note on the rm. It is not technically a bedroom. It is an add on to the house and is really the workshop room. Note hour our bed fills the width of the room. Well you have about four feet from the end of the bed to the door. Little Little room.

Leah made this video and I liked it and hope to share it with you.

Who is Leah? The fabulous glass artist whom I had the great joy of going to NYC with. Not the greatest trip Etsy or Stitch Marker wise. But it was fun to learn about my local Etsy friends.

Go say hi and enjoy the video. She has made several and I like this one.




On a side note. I got a stitch marker stuck in my shawl. A thread pulled a gather in the middle. But it is blocked and waiting for its photo shoot.

I also went to my computer today only to find the monitor had gone out. So I bought a new one. ITs huge. I feel like I am looking at giant picutes of everthing.

The dogs are confused by the change of furniture and I am just glad I had the funds to buy a new one. I don't think my stitch marker biz buys a lot....but it comes in handy from time to time.

I am trying to be better about blogging. I been knitting, beading, and makeing a huge amoutnt of stitch markers.

I am excited to have a second shop carry them. Its a little scary but nice. I may take March off to simply knit a few things that I want to.

Besides my shawl. I have finished a Tom Tom cozy and I finished up a scarf and look foward to starting a new pair of socks.
