A cute pink pair of trekking xl in the Knitty Muscari pattern. They are cute, quick, and really fun to knit.
I don't know what my surge in knitting has been. I don't know if I am just really excited about sock summit and think I must catch up on all things knitterly. There are so many things on my knitting bench.

I went to my first knit night in almost 5 years.
It was great. I got a little lost but it was warm cozy and friendly once I made it inside. I knit on my opal sleeves. (think arm warmers with no thumb). The meet up was at Wynona studio which is a fun eclectic place. There is fiber love in there air. Lots of reclaimed yarn and local studio yarns. They have classes on all sorts of fiber activities.
I hope to get back there again for knit night.
Long looong ago I kept a knit journal. From the good to the bad.
Today I still have the good and bad. The finished and the cast aside. I just have not got to the journal.
I have been knitting arm warmers, arm sleeves, and socks.
I also finished my very first garment. A baby sweater from KiraKDesigns. It is cute and small.. . . So very soft and lavender. The only small part left to do is graft the pieces together and sew up the underarms. I knit the larger size but on smaller needles so it is a tad longer but made new born size. A minute in the baby wardrobe but it will make me smile.
Lets see if I can spark some creativity back into my web world.
