Beads and Knitting...Yummy

I picked up "Knitting with Beads" which was a bad Idea seens as I am not supposed to be starting any new projects. I started a Laguna blue scarf with diamonds. The beads are ireadesent and liquid love.

its been a lot of fun if not a little trying at times.

The tree bag is almost done I just have to add the handles. I am really happy with how they are turning out it took me three tries to get it right.

I bought yarn.

I Bought needles.

There great I bought silk, Acrylic, cotton and some random novelty yarn. My needles are all sorts of goodies. Used but great.

Then we have the crochet rug making wool. A handmade Pendleton rug by me. SO lovely and so cheap. I love the woolen mills outlet. They are a true outlet.

So I was really not supposed to start any new projects but... I did. This odd green wool will be felted into a lovely needle bag. The Rectangle bag is doing all sorts of goodness and I have to find some more wool for it however my scraps are not lasting all the rows. I have five rows left before I start the decreases.

Tomorrow I go to find out weather or not they will re brake my foot.

How do you pronounce that = Entralac

The entrelac suki bag is makings its start into the world. I have the row of triangles and am finishing the second row of rectangles. They are working up much quicker then I had thoughts I like that I don't have to Turn my work now it goes much faster on these purl rows.

I am excited I am using up wool bits in earth tones and they mesh just lovely.

The paper clip

Whoo hoo someone else uses a paperclip as a knitting tool on the go. I am so perfectly happy about this I could jump up and down....well raise a crutch.

One doctor and a pair of crutches

I have two crutches for the day and for the next month.. Yes I have a fractured fifth foot bone. How did I do it you ask... Well I was not running, swimming, dancing, or even just playing foot ball. I got out of bed while my foot was asleep. It went pop and swelled up and I got to take a ride to the ER. Fun fun fun.

In the world of knitting its ok because I have all three pieces of my tank done and all that needs to be completed is the length of the straps, blocking, and sewing them together.

I got one of those project monitors up.. I feel special. Next I tackle the picture problem.

I went stash hunting last night and found two 55 gallon containers of yarn plus a couple random boxes. If I am going to move in with my girl I am going to need to start using all that up. Therefore I am not allowed to buy any more yarn Till at least one of those 55s is used up.

I doubt I will be able to keep this promise But I am going to try.

That is a lot of yarn by the way... a very large amount.

Like a lizard

Better then licking a lizard I guess. The little purple hat is not doing so hot. I think it is mostly a creative work in the form of a hat. Mostly because as I was decreasing for the top I just added more cables and well that got hairy. Then the unthinkable thunk and one of the needles got pulled out. I was not going fishing for it.

I pulled some of it out in frustration. I decided to go with a more avant Guard approach and just made the current cables into knit pillars that come to a point and will weave them in and out for the top. Five down three to go. Its nothing if not interesting.

I hope to find a way to put pics up soon.

A nibble of purple goodness

The mystery yarn is starting to be used up. I have used some of the Lagoon which I think is a cotton wool mix and some of the Tropical green with a splash of pink to make two hats. I am starting the third one now. A purple cable hat with the Tropical green around the brim. I don't know what the fiber content of the purple is but its super soft and really easy to work with.

I think I am on a hat kick and while I am at it I should learn to make mittens to match my hats.
